  7. Hi guys enjoyed the rain soaked afternoon at JAE. Shame RAY threw that marque away, Jim would not let me pinch it. I had a plan for that item! Anyway back to the topic, were would everyone like to meet on Sunday and at what time, prior to travelling to TOTB? Please insert your decent comment below! I
  8. Why are you not measuring the temperature on the move? I got a little thermometer off ebay, that cost a few quid and has a probe on a wire that can fed into the engine bay. Obviously as a scientist, I would look at both temperatures at standstill and whilst running, when colder more dense air is being sourced from outside. I bought a grille from http://www.grille-tech.com Cost me £40.00 for the standard supra one, fits with some zip-ties (which is only temporary whilst I source some long bolts) I then spent £15.00 and bought a pipercross, cold air feed, from ebay - which includes the intake trumpets. Drilled holes in them and fitted them to the grille and offered the whole thing up: after a bit of faffing about it all fitted well. Now then, as I am using an N/A supra all the plastic work was removed (where you would normally have intercooler pipes) I fed the flexi-pipe into the engine bay. There has been a change in performance, I have been using the Injen Intake for a while so I could justify the improvement. The throttle is a little snappier and it seems to pull better.
  9. Cool thanks, I shall have a chat with the gaffer, but it depends on if she wants to go to the TOTB, otherwise I have promised a lift to my neighbour! (Just remembered that, goodness I am becoming a scatter brain!!!) Oh well one day left of the term then its: SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Andreas birthday is the week after, (I think) and you and emma are invited to that, so we are expecting you down at our house for fun and frollics, Kingswood stylee. Karina and I could be persuaded to attend a little drinky in Harrogate, but what are we to do about accomodation?
  11. I am wondering if Darkrider would be kind enough to pay for my tickets as well and I will settle up with you on the sunday of TOTB.
  12. God no! dont put silica gel in the lights, it is quite aggresive and can form silicon hydroxide, which is quite a nasty chemical. My suggestion is to take them apart again, remove as much of the sealer as you can and then reseal them by running a bead around the edge, heating them up gently to place the plastic as close together as before (remember how they used to be) and run extra sealant into the gap.
  13. Hello (2) That was me, we had just come for a ride out and know that North Bay is often easier to park on! Like the stock look of the supra, getting it lowered though and have some new alloys on order from ENVY.
  14. There is supposed be another fuse box in the passenger foot well. I have never looked, try there.
  15. Centre caps? Dunno, just ordered them from our friends at ENVY might be up your neck of the woods to have them fitted....
  16. I have some triple spokes I am going to get rid off as I have moved onto some newe wheels by KEI Racing. Got a good price from Gaz at ENVY! (Thanks, Gaz) One of the front wheels has a slight buckle, which you can feel at over 70leptons, what price do you think would be reasonable? They are Try Force "Zelda's" I am sorry for the: I aint no pirate!
  17. Popped in to check out the kitchens, saw a UK Spec Turbo, L reg. Who was it!
  18. Thanks for your reply, the wheel nut is made of soft alloy! Guess it must be seized on?
  19. Hi guys and gals, got some Advan triple spoke wheels on my MR2, which have a large centre which look like the proper race wheels, there is a circlip that can be taken off but I can not see how the centre should come off! Any ideas??? Please help me!

  21. I know that this seems silly bit could it have been the petrol pipe? Equally there should be a breather pipe as well, I know that some J-Spec's have had some waxoiling when they come into the country, probably as a precaution to our mild, muggy winters and salt that reak havoc! Sorry I cany be of anymore assistance!
