I don't know what one of them is, but it sounds good to me.

Now that i have amassed a pile of parts bigger than my shed, i'm going to have to start putting them on my car. Hopefully soon it will go to the bodyshop to have the inner wing sorted, then i'm going to build it up before it gets a complete respray (colour undecided). What i'm after from you lucky peeps with straight cars is any pictures you may have taken while fitting/removing parts from your car, that will help me locate the bits and pieces that are missing from mine. Here's a couple of my car so you can see the sort of thing i'm after.

    Cut Up

Hooray. Managed to slice me finger open a with stanley blade at work today. Claret everywhere. I work on me todd so done a one handed patch up jobby with a first aid kit, then decided not to go to the local A&E (bedford) but to set off home to Norwich which has an excelent Hospital. The kind Dr decided that 4 stitches would do the job, which required a local anesthetic. Now, the local 'smarted ' a bit and consisted of 4 injections around the wound and although it made me sweat, it was also kind of funny when all the fluid he was injecting started pouring out off the cut:blink: Weirdest thing off all though is when the anesthetic starts to work and you're sitting there, watching someone pushing a needle through your finger and not being able to feel a thing:doctor:
  7. I couldn't think of anything when i joined, so just used my name. The 'forcefed3000' bit under my name came later though, and hopefully speaks for its self:cool:

    ebay horror

I've worked at a custom painters doing bikes in the past, so have some idea how much work and effort has into that car. Trouble is, all the time and effort in the world doesn't make up for bad taste:thumbdown
  9. I would collect this if i was closer. Bummer. Would you mind telling me what halfords want for a replacement battery!
  10. I'll see if i can come! Wont be in the supra though.
  11. Chances are the lines have failed in lab testing. All highways work has to be monitored, and when those lines were painted there would have been a technician there from a lab taking samples. If the material failed, it would probably take the council 9 months to sort it out. I do this kind of work but with aggregates and other materials, but from talking to other labs on site i'm sure these lines contain a regulated amount of differant colour particles. Maybe the ratio was wrong. I think some kind of abrasion test would probably be done also, to see if it will last however long it has to. I'd be mighty concerned though,to see that dude inches away from my car with that massive blow torch.
  12. Yeah the oil thing is a pain in the ****. More Supras will become availiable, i've got quite a few. Can't remember any times for the ring unfortunately!!!
  13. Pah, a mere flesh wound. Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I'm repairing one worse than that, yours looks like most stuff will bolt straight on. There's a few cars being broken in the classifieds at the moment, so check them out. I've pretty much just bought everything you'll need to repair that for a not too large amont of cash! Getting it painted will be your biggest expence. Good luck, hope you're back on the road soon.
  14. Got all the parts i need to repair the front end damage on mine now, thanks mainly to the various cars thet have been broken on the forum. Just got to grease the taxmans palm in january, then it's full steam ahead. Hopefully on the road for the summer:ecstatic:
