  1. Sneak preview of the current cover design!
  2. Get them in quick folks - the design is underway! I'm choosing pics as I go along and the standard this year is higher than last.
  3. "couple of lil bad bits due to the age of the car but nothing serious!" Usually means "serious"!!
  4. Everything sent over has been downloaded or saved - thanks so far, already some great pictures
  5. Can you email this please if you want it considered
  6. Get going folks! Call for entries
  7. OK folks, it's happening again! Between Blythmark and myself (thanks Mark for stepping up too) you'll be able to place orders for your 2019 Forum Calendar very soon. However, we need content, good content. Same rules as last time apply - this is about showcasing the diversity and passion we have for the Supra and then lobbing a load of luscious pics in a calendar. There will be no bias towards 2000bhp builds, 'stock' cars or mates' cars - this is about ALL Supras of all colours, power and state - even NAs! So if you have a pic (or pics) of your car that you'd like to be considered for inclusion this is what you have to consider: Quality and resolution - last year quite a few pics were dismissed because they were too small (resolution) and just not quite good enough in terms of quality of pic (Google Jazz1 car pics for examples!). This was sad as some of the cars that were excluded because of this were great cars - don't fall into that trap. So if you submit entries make sure they are: 1. Of a high resolution (300dpi and physcially large in terms of size) if possible - in this case size does matter 2. Of a decent quality - this is not subjective, this is blatantly obvious! 3. Email them, don't post them on here 4. If you have a specific month you'd like the car to feature in (your birthday perhaps, an anniversary or a special memory of a friend etc) then let me know on the email, not on here. I'll endeavour to do all I can to make it happen as long as 1 and 2 above have been adhered to and there's space etc - can't make promises but I'll do my best Email me your pics (or WeTransfer, MailBigFile etc if they're mahoosive) to: [email protected]
  8. Hi Mark Am happy to all the design and artwork and just fire the PDF over to you ready for print - not about toes or money as neither are my motivation!
  9. Hi Mark - have just replied via PM. I'm more than happy to put the design and artwork together again. We'd need to get pics in asap for selection and, if last year's design worked for people, we could always use last year's design as a basis for this years (to speed things up). In terms of print, I had it printed here in Lincoln at a printers I've known for many, many years (plus I rent desk space within their offices) so in terms of convenience this made sense. I also sorted the packing and posting too. Am more than happy if anybody wants to collaborate with any apsects of the production/despatch as they tend to be the ball-achey bits! As mentioned, we'd need to start moving quickly as I'm about to start on 2 large design projects that will be sucking up many days of my life and organising pics is time-consuming on its own.
  10. 2007 Toyota Yaris 1.8SR in Chilli Red Low miles, only 78,400, with Full Service History (last one was an independent, Toyota up until then) MoT until 25th September 2019 (passed with no advisories). Cracking looking little car, this is the top of the range SR with the rare 1.8 Dual VVT-i 131bhp engine. Benefits from: • Lowered and retuned sports suspension as standard • Electric power steering tuned for sharper response • Sports body styling with rear spoiler, side skirts and deep front and rear bumpers • 1.8 SR model only individual LED rear lights • Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) • Traction Control (TRC) • Keyless entry with push-button start and stop • Air Conditioning • 9 airbags • 6 CD changer/player with 6 speakers • Steering wheel audio controls • 17” 7-spoke alloy wheels with 4 great tyres, • Electric windows • Electrically adjustable door mirrors • Remote fuel flap release • Fully adjustable steering wheel. Rear seats are 60:40 and both fold and move forwards and backwards for ultimate flexibility. Really nippy and still returns 40mpg. Love this car but have seen something I’ve been after for years so this needs to go to free up the necessary dollar! Priced to sell and is well below what these cars usually retail at. Does have some age-related stone chips as you would expect from an 11 year old car but all this is accounted for in the sale price. Viewing recommended to fully appreciate this little gem. Ready to go, just jump in and enjoy cheap, nippy motoring! £1,750 to MKIV members.
  11. I can tell you what it's like in the M3 but not in the Supra. However, if it drives in the Supra like it does in the M3 then I'd have had it in my Supra no worries!
  12. They're not a time-bomb at all, you're just listening to the usual internet scare-mongering which has lined the pockets of many 'specialists'. Add to that that most of these failures have been in the US as well and only a very small number in the UK. Any car that is ragged from cold will eventually give up and these cars are no different - abuse leads to failure. I'm sure none of you guys drive your Supras flat out from cold without warming the old girl up first - the M3s are no different. The rod bearings were uprated from about 2010 as they can be susceptible to premature wear but many earlier cars with high miles can show no signs of premature bearing wear - it's predominantly down to user abuse. It's the same with women! Anyway, best of luck with the sale OP, the value of these NA V8s will only go one way over the next few years
  13. Apologies - I thought everybody wanted the whole unit. Keep your thongs on!
  14. That's a bit against the ethos of this place to be honest. If you advertised the part with a price you're happy with you should offer it in turn to those who PMd you in the order they got in touch. If they don't pony up the dough then move on to the 2nd etc.
  15. Frank Bullitt is/was after an active spoiler lip
  16. Agree on both counts - mine's just hit 60k with no signs of rod bearing wear as yet - most are done as a prevention rather than a cure. Regular oil sampling will put any owner's mind at rest. ripped_fear - get it bought - best move I ever made getting mine!
  17. Having one of these fine beasts I can tell you that this is a great car to buy and own! Only question would be if the throttle actuators have been replaced or not? The rod bearings should be fine but it's worth getting an oil sample checked over. Gorgeous car, great spec, proper price. GLWS.
  18. I'd just fit a 1.1 or 1.2 RR - job done
  19. Welcome back! Some old farts still here!
