Popped over to JamieP's again today to collect some "fun" bits for my car, stuff that will go on for the shows, convoys and meets

Jamie offered a passenger ride in his new GTR, now I went in a Supra with Jamie a few years ago and I remember his driving style, we I can tell you it has not changed :scared::D

It was my first ride in the new GTR and I have to say it is an awesome machine, such low end power and immense torque, it also holds to road so well, feels much faster than an equal BHP Supra, I guess its all in the way it delivers its power

Anyway here are the new bits I collected, cheers Jamie

I am surprised that you found faster then an equally bhp supra...! I would of thought the supra being smaller and with less gadgets to keep you controlled that it would of felt faster on a Supra..!

Its the low rev torque that is so impressive, Jamies driving style also makes it feel faster I guess, you are half smiling and half pooping yourself :D

Please don't go and buy a GTR Dean!! :D

Your Supra should look and sound insane once complete! Look forward to seeing it together!!

How do you feel this single build has gone for you? Seeing as you have done a few in the past?

Nah no GTR for me,the Supra is almost finished and I cant wait to get it back, it will be mapped next Friday, should make good power now I am adding the 264 cams

I would have done lots of things differently if I am honest including

1. By a good well known single in the first place

2. Dont by a cheap TT6 and expect to actually have a great car for less than what a good TT6 would have been in the first place

3. Dont BPU a car only to go single 1000 miles later

4. Dont just buy every bit that comes up for sale, I have a garage full of parts I dont need

5. Dont chase BHP (I am doing it again!!)

6. Dont think you can go single for less than 10K

7. Dont keep changing your mind

That quote should be made into a 'sticky' it would save a huge amount of pointless threads

Nice parts fella, are you just having the nos bottle as a show thing or you thinking of running nitrous too?

Though to be honest the way you have done it might not be the most cost effective, buying loads of parts didn't help!!

But the way you have done it would ensure you have a well sorted single setup. Which means a reliable single! My only worry is an like you said, you sure that you aren't chasing numbers?!

Nice purchases :)

Those wheels look good on a black car.

As a heads up, they will be very difficult to fit with stock arches. The 325/50 is a BIG tyre! Lol

I had HKS Drags and alot of arch work when I had them fitted.

However Dude did mention once that he has previously fitted those tyres to a stock arch car.
