Well, I've been planning this for about 2 years...and the technology has moved on a fair bit from a T60-1, HKS manifold, AEM ECU, DEFI gauges.

So I've now ordered for my Stage 1 build:

BW91/79 0.91 Divided

Whifbitz twin scroll manifold with heat coating

Two Tial MVS 38mm wastegates

Drop-in Sard 800cc injectors, Aeromotive FPR etc...

Syvecs ECU and mapping from Ryan

James at 3S will install the turbo kit and any custom pipework needed

Two dual display custom built gauges from Nodalmighty (on the forum) which when built will display: Oil Temp & Pressure on one and EGT and Transmission Temp on the other.

Already have Greddy FMIC, oil and transmission coolers. Trouble is all that planning and now I can't wait the 4-5 weeks lead time!!

Stage 2 will be after I get comfy with the 570ish target bhp. I'll be getting a BL autobox and either 264/264 or 272/272 cams for the 630+ bhp target....:D

Hi, Yes. Toyota GT/JDModified.

The BW turbo design has some sexy new turbine blade geometry that I couldn't resist. The biggest decision was which housing and A/R. They don't do a 0.88 Divided - so went for the 0.91. But can go bigger though...then into spool valve territory to minimise lag. But more money...And was interested in the Full Race special build twin scroll manifold too - but $$$$$$$!

I'm very keen to see the results with Paul Whiffen's special build manfold - particularly with the twin wategates configuration. Should get great spoolup! Paul - please can you reduce the lead time?

I'll check with Lee P about the cams advice.

sounds a lot like mine ul love the power! :)

the BL box will be a great choice too, the way it puts the power down will destroy any manual with the same set up!

ive got the 264 cams in mine! i managed 618bhp and that was with 650cc injectors so you will se a lot more with the extra boost!

could just buy my car and have all the bits ;)

Toyota GT alarm bells are ringing. You should check some of the build threads done by them in the past before you decide who you use for the engine work.

I'm looking at options now...main concern is time pressure to get a top quality job done.

The Turbosmart v Tial 38mm - not a lot in it. The smaller looking form factor of the Tials is a plus to avoid pipework.

And I'm settling on the 264/264 cams. Ideal for my power target.

Reviewing whether to keep my Grex oil cooler and Mocal trans cooler or go for two of Lee P's trans coolers and sell the Mocal. Or keep the Mocal and sell the Grex...Decisions!!
