NOW SOLD: '94, Black UK TT Auto

attachment.php?attachmentid=108624&stc=1&d=1271970858

An rare opportunity to purchase a nice example of an increasingly rare car with subtle enhancements to refine the great job Toyota did originally...

The quick stuff:

Price: ** Deposit Taken **

Location: Car is in the Leeds area of West Yorkshire, England.

Misc: I'm happy to discuss exporting this overseas with a genuine buyer.

vbpgimage.php?do=full&p=13495

I'm not selling because I don't like the car anymore, it's just not getting used these days and it seems a shame for it to be wasted when someone else could be enjoying it.

Car is in very good condition for it's age / mileage, some members who have seen it will be able to comment further.

I'm happy to consider assisting someone who wants to take the car over to Europe (apart from scammers of course) but would like a relatively painless separation if possible. Ideally I don't want to see the car again once sold because I know I'll miss it and regret selling. Leeds has an airport, good train links and is fairly close to a few ferry terminals so it's easy to get to :)

Year: 1994 (L plate - private plate will be removed)

Mileage: Just over 112,000

Tax: 01/08/2010

MOT: Due 1st July 2010

History: Full Toyota history to ~78k then independent specialists to renew / service

Colour: Standard Astral Black

All the usual UK goodies, real ivory leather front and back, heated seats, headlamp washers etc - everything works

Car is located in the Leeds area, drop me a PM / email if you have any questions or want to chat on the phone, I don't really want this post to be a Q&A session. I'll update it with info if prompted to by questions being asked and anything that comes to mind.

The "Niggles"

----------

Could do with a service and cambelt change for peace of mind.

Rust bubble on drivers A pillar near windscreen.

Rear centre brake light smoothing - paint has cracked due to filler shrink

Annoying squeak that appears at certain vibrations.

Some stone chips but a lot less than there should be on a car of this age :)

Nokia car kit bracket screwed to side of dash.

Chrome surround in headlamp units sitting slightly proud of actual lamps.

I'm hoping to address some or all of the above if I get chance but if not the price may be negotiable accordingly. The more I do the more likely I'll be to want the asking price.

Finally...

How much? Unmolested UK-supplied Supras are fetching good money.

Expect to pay around £10,000. But it will hold its value and could even appreciate.

You for real this time, I thought I had it last time round ;)

I'm very much for real but not putting the advert up until I have a couple more photographs - need some daylight for them though.

Last time was very tempting with the Merc as p/x but my brain kicked in and got sensible on me :(

No typo, for the last few years anyway, I like it too much to let it out in public, slightly mental I'm afraid.

I have this feeling now I have Andrew's (SupraAyf).

In the end though I thought, why did I buy it if not to use it! I mean, I don't take it to Tesco or whatever, I'm still selective about where she goes.

Anyway, back on topic - beautiful car, shouldn't have any issues selling it mate. I want me one of those sub enclosures too

  • 2 weeks later...

Good luck with the sale, im afraid after putting mine on P/H and getting quite a few ludicrous offers that would just about get you a decent na then you could still have this for quite a while.

I don't think people want to pay for the cream on top of the milk if you know what i mean.

I shall keep mine now

All the best though as yours is in very good condition and looks stunning in the pics, shame its an auto is what most told me too pmsl
