The thing is, does it really matter if a tt is faster than a N/A?..

It shouldn't, but apparently it does matter to some, so these threads get started and turn into 'us and them' inevitably

They are long-running 'feuds' just like UKSpec vs JSpec, or TTs and singles

All in good humour:d

There is never going to be an answer to "is the TT worth the extra money" - because it all depends what you want.

For me - no it's not, because I don't want a TT. Money doesn't actually come into it - if they cost the same, I'd still have bought an NA.

For many people, I guess it is - power is everything.

cuckoo :D

As I say - it depends what people want from the car. It's my daily driver - and to be honest, over the winter even a RWD NA was a pain in the arse. I certainly wouldn't have wanted a turbo.

The difference in price is not that siginificant anyway - mine is a 97 NA, so I paid just over £6K for it a year ago. Turbo prices don't start very far from that.
