The previous owner before me lost many thousands on it in only a few months (8k iirc), then I bought it for a 'bargain' price and lost another 4-5k on it. Besides which they're always dirty and I got bored of people saying "Nice car. Shame it's white". I just read this thread and actually dissappointed by the amount of people crying you down about the cars value. Shame really, everyone should be bound together to keep the values up, wether it be N/A or TT. Mate you liked the car and you have to live with it, if the 2 of you like it then thats what matters as the people on here arn't the ones that get to look at it everyday or drive it.
