n boost
Damn right mate, It's a joke how some people go ott about threats we are facing these days. I agree with u as what is happening to the world. Things are changing, new laws etc and it's causing people to panic.
Kopite
Some of the comments there are out of this world! Yes kids can be annoying but that's part of being a kid! As for leaving kids at home more often...
Darren
Maybe theyre just trying to say that 'some' parents dont bother to 'parent' their kids? I sat on a flight and a couple was travelling with their son theyre seats were a two and a one. The little fella had ADHD or something else he was totally hyper and talked insensintelly. And was atleast 5p short of the pound. Guess what? His parents sat in the two and put the kid across the aisle and left him to it. This appeared to be a very deliberate ploy on their part as they ignored him for the whole flight. Even my missus who has the patience of a saint thought they were out of order..... MrRalphMan
Just finished reading the comments, bloody hell there are some right bigots out there. I really resent the 'breeders' comments. Now I'm not just 'pro' kids and let them do what they like, I get annoyed with the rest when a kids is out of control. But if the Parent is trying, then that's one of those things. When my middle one was a little younger he used to be a nightmare when we took him out. We went to a restaraunt for lunch and I had to chase him to bring him back.. Haven't been out to lunch like that for ages.. Believe me it was no fun for us either. He's mellowed right out now, can still be a handful, but a lot better. But if the news reports are right, then all he was being is happy to be on the plane and saying 'bye bye' to it. When my oldest one was 3 we went to Euro Disney, one the way back he was still excited and chatty on the Eurostar. now it was really quite and his voice stood out, but he was only talking about the trip, should I have 'shut him up'? No, if he was shouting or running up and down the train, then yes. /big breath in/ rightho, time to calm down..
Supragal
There are some freaks out there!!! I don't even agree with animals being in the cargo hold, let alone suggesting putting kids in there!
Pete
There's usually more to stories like this than reported. It'd be interesting to hear the other side of the story. Flying is stressful, tiring and therefore makes people irritable. Not having kids I too tend not to be very understanding when having them booting the back of my seat etc.
DamanC
Maybe theyre just trying to say that 'some' parents dont bother to 'parent' their kids? That seems to repeat itself many times over around here. Mind you, I do live in essex. I hate kids, with a passion. They are spoilt, naive, noisey, smelly, ugly and generally in your way (and they are not even yours!) Anyways, enough about my hate loathe for children. Back to the article, kicking a child off a plane just to quieten him, bloody daft if you ask me. A swift kick to the face should have shit him up I would have liked to seen the other side of the story thou.

Guest CoolsBlue
OMG 19 months old, whats so bad that a 19 month old can do!!!
Sparky
That wasn't a very nice thing to do, but remember that you've only heard the mothers side of the story. The kid could of been out of control and screaming at the top of its voice for ages putting off tjhe other passengers on the plane. I dont agree with the Drugging comment i think thats very unprofessional. And before people say anything ive heard what a 19 month old can do and they can sqeal very loudly and for long periods of time. Poor kiddy! Supragal
I dont agree with the Drugging comment i think thats very unprofessional. I think the 'drugging' comment is taken a bit wrongly. I am no expert but it's that just a basic kids medicine, over the counter jobbie that parents regularly give their kids to help them sleep etc when they are ill? So no drugging. Don't forget drug in US means a different thing to here in a way.
Ian C
After seeing the gulf of difference between some parents' abilities on the bus I can only sympathise with what some airline passengers must have to endure when an uncontrolled child is let loose. That's waht surprises me tbh! My kids are very well behaved in genaral but they can get a bit giddy (especially when they are pissed) I have been absolutely disgusted by the poor level of parenting seen lately from swearing in front of them to generally leaving them to their own devices! Some kids would be better off without their parents as they are setting them a bad example! Where did it all go wrong? H.

Spot on mate, i have taken my 2 1/2 year old on planes & he's always well behaved, other parents just seem to get the kids on the plane and then it's like everyone else can look after 'em now and the run riot
