Ewen
What does oxo cubes in someones shoes do?? Powdered soups better, but after a while the sweat turns it into concentrated smelly goo.

Ewen
When I was a boat builder in the '70s I sometimes did some extra weekend work sorting odd stuff out on the fishing boats. I'd usually get paid cash, but sometimes I got paid in fish:) I had a Kwacka 250 then, and getting the odd six-foot long cod or twelve live lobsters back to my digs was hilarious. The landlady was very appreciative too.

Ewen
Sounds interesting. Can we have a diagram to illustrate how you did that? :)Large cod were either put across the seat behind me, or if really big, strapped to my back. This made them look like pillion passengers riding side-saddle. Live lobsters were more of a challenge...I could get six in a satchel and four down the front of my jacket. The four foot wide skate episode didnt end well.
