Homer
out of the fridge? basically i bought it this morning and when i got home forgot to put it in the fridge will it still be ok or should i throw it? If it was supermarket milk I wouldn't really bother (Smell test should confirm though!) If it was fresh milk from the milkman then it should be fine. michael
It'll be fine. Your milk goes through a lot before it reaches you (including having me stood next to it sometimes), a day in slightly warmer temps from a fridge won't have much effect, maybe in summer or if you have your heating on full blast.... Chris Wilson
If it's sterilised it will keep for ages, if it's pasteurised it should be OK for at least 2 days out of the fridge if the kitchens fairly cool. If it smells OK it is usually OK to drink. A bit of added bacteria is good for your immune system

Charlotte
It really annoys me at work because we don't have a fridge so they keep the milk in a wine cooler thing during the day (OMG). But if there's any milk left over night it stays there and people use it in the mornings. Yuk.

SupraStar 3000
WHAT A BUNCH OF BABIES! If its still in a liquid form, its drinkable. I use the Ray Mears cook book. Find it, kill it, eat it some people say I look like Ray Mears http://www.wwf.org.uk/picturelibrary/jpeg150/ra/raymears.jpg
