I would first try running without the spacers on the back and see if that cures the problem. Jspec Germany Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 Mine is not tire pressures, nor tires. I run 34-36 all around, have experimented with all, been through 4 different tires. I don't have spacers, but I am on lowered suspension. I'm also on 18s and mine is a TT, so it's not an NA only problem. I keep hearing all these different things that may be suspect. As soon as someone narrows this down, please let the rest of us know. Do you notice the problem more in the wet? I do. That's when the car does it most, in the wet, driving in a straight line, and almost always when I drive over a painted or uneven surface or crack in the road. Chris Wilson Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 I have now identified this rear steer problem as coming from the rear toe link rods being worn. I have fixed it by renewing them on 3 cars now. There's a screenshot form the EPC showing them with part numbers in another thread. J-Spec Germany: I reckon this will be your problem, too. It's very easy to be fooled into thinking they are OK, it takes the sort of loadings only driving can reproduce to get the things to move.
