AJI Posted May 24, 2006 Share Posted May 24, 2006 I've never got why people put carbon bonnets on their cars unless the weight saving is going to be beneficial to what they use the car for. If you're a competitor and the weight saving would make a difference then its all good, but for cosmetic reasons, a bonnet the same colour as the rest of the car looks much much better IMO. I'd say if you are looking to save weight (if thats the main reason), it would be cheaper to loose the rear seats.
