...the things that are ruining every good PC game.

I'm not into the latest thing...traditionally consoles are pretty bad within their first 12 months of launch until people learn how to code them properly.

However, a console game always 'feels' better. I think it's due to the hardware consistancy where you program a game and know it'll feel the same on every console.

PC Games always seem to lack something when compared to their console version.

Saying that, the PC is great for 1st person shooters and strategy games...and graphics (if you've got the dosh to keep up with the best hardware).

I'll wait for my blu-ray PS3 thanks. The X-Box 360 is just a martketing stunt to get the jump on Sony.

Pete what do you mean lack something? PC games are different in terms of playablitly. Its always been the case that first person shooters or anything that requires lots of functions (like simulation games) are best left to PCs.

Games like arcade titles are better on consoles for sure.

PS3

Some games (struggling to think of one) on the PS2 just seem to flow better somehow...Grand theft auto is one...Resi Evil....SSX.. Tony Hawks.... Platform games... Like for like games always play better on the PS2 to me.

Yeah, games like that are designed for consoles, and ported to PCs, I've not found a game like Gran Tourismo on the PC yet. I know what you mean.

But a kick ass PC can play the likes of GTA in much nicer graphics and be as playable. There is slow down in GTA on the PS2, one of the few games where its noticable.

Each to their own I guess. I personally used to have both an Xbox and PS2 and I always ended up buying the games on the Xbox as I found them to be better graphically. Xbox Live is also way ahead of the Playstation online effort IMO.

I however will also be going for a PS3 as I love my consoles. :D

I don't have anything against PC gaming but I can't be arsed to keep upgrading graphics cards etc constantly in order to play the latest games. I want to be able to bung the game in and play it and console gaming allows me to do that.
