think he was just trying to be nice... some kid comes on here with the car that he loves and gets 'SLATED'... opinions are good and I personally would want the honest answer, but I do feel a bit sorry for him... I'd be gutted....

Actually, I dont think it is the owner who posted but the chap who did the work for a mate so we werent slating the owner directly

yes its sprayed on, i was asked to do it after the owner saw my own car. He's more than pleased with the results and thats what matters at the end of the day.

Ive posted this thread on 3 forums, and the responses are about 60/40 positive at present

Can't see me posting much more on here tho, i feel about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit:run:

Thanks to those with Constructive answersand welcome messages.............the others,(armchair experts) i've heard it all before..water off a ducks back as they say:nyah:

..........wondered when some hawkeye would spot the overspray on the tyre..it's something i always do to keep the snipers happy!

i like it, makes the red look a bit better!!

3 things though

1) i take it one rear spat is suppose to be red and 1 white?

2) dont like the bonnet vent in white

3) welcome, think it looks good, i like the race rep look

and one more, get your customer to lower it, job done!

and welcome, looks like good work to me...

Should have spent more time painting this rather than the bloody tyres.

'Hawkeye' :p

PS, not wishing to sound picky but there's overspray on the headlight rubbers too and the mask lines on the side skirts look a bit iffy too. But hey, if the guy is happy and you made plenty out of it then that's what it's all about eh?

That car looks great, a job well done on the car.

No not to everyones taste but far from chaved up. A good Job has been done on it and i think its one of the cars that will look better in the flesh. Anyone who ever saw the castrol veilside supra at bolney or any other meet, never said that looked chavish...but it same in prinicpal...vinyls on a road car

Not sure who said the V isnt in centre ive been looking at pic now for good 5mins...without being out there measuring the car, it looks dead centre to me.

Only bad points MR2 badge and that bonnet vent.
