A lot of club members already know this, but I've just bought a property which needs a lot of money spent on it and so I need to sell my Supra, to raise the funds.

I'm explaining it in cold terms, but I'm obviously upset about it.

I have plenty of time to sell the car, because the builder isn't available unit March/April  2022.

FOR SALE --- RED   1996 UK spec  SUPRA Auto

Currently just under 78,000 miles on the clock.

FULL SERVICE HISTORY

I have a file of restoration invoices for £33,000, with lots of photos of the work.

I replaced the Toyota alarm, with a Cobra cat-1 alarm in August - 2010

Cambelt and tensioners replaced Oct - 2016 with 72,244 miles on the clock.

Zunsport  Radiator Grilles fitted in March - 2017

New Boot Blind in Nov - 2017

4 New Pirelli Tyres in May - 2020

MAJOR RESTORATION  carried out in 2019

ASKING PRICE --- £45,000

The car is in Gloucestershire

The registration plate --- H15 SUP is not included in the sale and I'm looking for offers around £5,000 for it.

It would suit a Mk4 or Mk5 Supra.

Please click on the SUPRA CHAT link below and go to  ---PAGE - 1 of  STEVE'S UK spec RESTORATION in SUPRA CHAT, for PHOTOS and further information.

I can send a short walk-around film of the car by Email.

Thank you,

Steve ( ARPUS )

Good luck with the sale 👍

Would help for some if you put some nice pics up in this thread.

I don't know how to do that Annabella.

Maybe Tyson ( Mike ) could transfer some over from the other thread.

Easy way is to write a comment and click the 'add files' button, should take you straight to your gallery if you're on your phone

Thanks Raddys,

I've PM'd  Tyson ( Mike ) and asked him to help me.

Hi Steve,

just had a look and if you click other media when editing you post or creating a new one, one of the options is to add existing attachments which will include any photos you have uploaded to the forum. I can’t see your attachments to help unfortunately.

Also interested to see how much interest you got and what the markets like at the moment.

Hello jongilly and Tyson,

I've had two people seriously interested a couple of months ago.

One decided to buy a 'project' Supra instead and the other accepted a job offer abroad.

I haven't actively tried to advertise the car during the winter months and will update the advert in the coming weeks.

In November 2021, I sent the car to Paul Cheshire and spent £1,500, which included replacing the CAMBELT, CRANK PULLEY and CRANK SEALS.

Paul sent me some current photos, a video and a written condition report, where he confirmed that my car is the BEST UK spec Supra he's ever had in his garage!!!

I'll add these items to the updated advert.

Regards,

Steve ( ARPUS )

The 'job offer abroad' one has already got scam/red flag written all over it. Just be careful who you're dealing with and obviously don't relinquish anything without confirmed transfer of funds 🙂

Lovely looking car that seems to have been well cared for. I remember your posts when you were looking for the car in the first place and waited for the right example to come along. So it seems like the asking price is very reasonable in todays market. Good luck with the sale

Thanks for your concern Style.

I'm fairly certain he was genuine, but it doesn't matter now.
