Window Seals

Just a quick question.

I've got the glass out of the Supra ready for a respray.

I have ordered;

Front:

75533-14190 (Front Moulding)

04562-12010 (DAM Kit)

Rear:

75573-14210

When the glass was removed, obviously there is a seal that the glass actually sticks too on the front and back. But i can't find a part number for those? Surely people remove these for resprays or do people just leave them in place?

Unless it's the installers sealant, but it just looks too neat to be free hand?

Think you are right looking at the EPC, below for the front windscreen.

Maybe it was done by a machine?

good shout - would make sense. Just didn't want to remove it all and then be stuck without a good bond, but also don't really feel its right just spraying right over the top of seals.

It doesn't show it for the rear though but I assume it looks like the same thing?

Yeh.. I’m really not sure. Hopefully someone who has done a full glass out may be able to chime in with wether they kept or removed these, or sprayed over them.

That is just glass adhesive, any auto glass fitter will have this on hand when you get the glasses bonded back in

Thank you mate - i can remove them without any fear now. Appreciate all your help
