Show me your oil cooler installs

Trying to install an engine il cooler, planned to put it under the headlight but it interferes with the intercooler pipework. 

 Need some inspiration, show me what you have

Don’t have any good pics but I mounted my oil cooler in front of the rad

Not a great pic, but on my old TT Auto I put the SRD gearbox cooler just Infront of the rad. Plenty of airflow, didn't cause adverse affects to anything else and protected nicely by the bumper lower grill 

Still there now with the current owner 4 years later

I have mine in the drivers side pod, I have double stacked them and had planned to duct the back of one to the next as they are either side of the boost pipe. The rear one gets the oil first and the front one last. 

Excust the bumper fitment, i have since sorted this

That's brave! I'd be wanting some kind of sturdy mesh to make sure it didn't get pierced by are projectiles. Perfect height for road debris.

 Engine oil and power steering on passenger side, trans coolers with fan on driver side. Ive never had any problems with debris hitting coolers in these locations

Do you monitor your Auto Box temps at all ? Does the fan come on often ?

This is a new setup, as yet unrun, but yes I have a temp sensor in the trans sump
