Installing Oil Feed:

 

This is the Union Bolt:

 

 

If engine is still in the car, then it can be removed using a long bar and a ?mm socket:

 

 

 

Lexus union Bolt:

Part no: 90401-19008

Where'd you get your flanges made up mate?

Go on eBay and type in "2jz-GTE oil return" I got mine from Japan only took 7-8 days to turn up

For anyone piecing together there own kit don't presume 4AN fittings will fit 4AN braided teflon hose because it won't! Lesson learnt!

 

My understanding of it is teflon hose needs teflon fittings and nitrile rubber hose needs the normal AN fittings?

Just to add. Whilst on the subject of the drain I may have found an alternative method , it still requires drilling but you can do this with ethe sump and engine still in the car . I know it steps away from the tried and tested method but I will keep you posted and update my build thread with pics. I am not being lazy but merely trying to find alternative methods to the same problem we get time and time again with na-t builds that and I am sure toyotas method is not the only solution. It still uses an oil return direct into the sump above the oil level.
