red oil light and red triangle

So driving back from work today about 65 mph and the oil light comes on with the red triangle light any ideas what this means ,then went off ,got plenty of oil . I'm stuck , help

Would the connection be on the back of the light cluster on the dash?

Was more in the line of thought being at the sensor , so did you have 2 lights come on

yeah the oil light and red triangle came on together for about 15 secs then went off .

is the sensor easy to get to under the car ?

The sensors are known to fail, its located on the engine near the dip stick access on the sump

Orange or Red? Orange is level Red is pressure.

Did it come on when you were hard on the brakes? (We're you driving it hard?)

 

As Swampy said level sensor is in the upper sump, you can get to it easily with the passenger side front wheel off, I think you can see it from above looking down near the oil dip stick, I think the connector is green?

 

Oil pressure sensor (these can leak) is nearer the front of the engine up behind the aircon compressor.

no was just doing 60 on mway came on breifly with triangle then went off then came on again and went off didnt come back on .will change the pressure sensor .looks like its failing
