Logical step up from a supra

Yeah the Ultima GTR gets my vote :D Build one yourself and save some money :)

If you want a sensible car, how about a Monaro VXR? Good as a stealth car, shame about the Vauxhall part.

The new M5 (hate to say it, don't really like BMWs) again as a "sensible" car.

A TVR of some description?

Think I'll be heading for a 350Z once I've bought a house.

I'd personally consider this a step down not a step up!

It's a side step...same class, different aims.

And it's newer.

Safe to say I'll not being modding the engine...looks, handling and brakes are the only areas that will be touched.

Not exactly an everyday car though. Maybe a kit replacement, but not a Supra replacement. I fancy building a GT40 replica next...when funds are better.

No, agreed, it's not an everyday car. It holds the 0-100mph-0 record doesn't it, great performance for the money! :D

If you want quick and nippy, how about the lotus exige, I do quite like these, nice looking, practical and good handling to boot, holding their value well though... probably not the most cost effective car!

PS I still think the 350Z is a downgrade not a sidestep, anyone else with me on this one? lol

Yeah I can't stand the noise they make either - silly whiney horrible things!!!

Mind you I can't say the Atom wouldn't be whiney with that bloody supercharger next to my ear! At least it's not a rattley 'M3' type whine though.

Exige's are nice but as you say expensive still.

Murcielago Roadster would be nice.
