Fair enough, as said, genuinely interested! Looks like a great car!

I didnt want manual and when I looked at a stage 4 built auto box the dct conversion became a very attractive alternative. The continuous power throughout the entire rev range is just amazing, still getting used to it and not had it on full boost yet either, full power shifts throughout all gear changes, drive logic setting 5 or 6 is just stunning.

Absolutely no offence meant, but what was the idea behind going for the DCT conversion if you were only achieving >600 whp? I know the cost of this conversion is astronomical so it just leaves me wondering why the expense for such power goals, instead of say sticking with stock auto (up to the point where it is on the limit allbeit) or going for a built auto such as an SRD or Boostlogic type setup which could both handle that type of power/torque?

DCT gearboxes offer super fast gear changes, something an autobox cant do especially a 25 year old design thats fitted to the Supra. So this conversion will offer a performance increase making the car accelerate faster, that will benefit anything from a stock car upwards so its not just for big power cars. Also DCT gearboxes dont have a power sapping torque converter so more of the power gets to the rear wheels. There are plenty of other plus points but these are the main ones.

Thanks

Paul
