jza800
I have change to alu pipes, and new silicone hoses all over the engine, before i fit the engine in the car.. and all hose clamps are well tightened on the intercooler pipes
jza800
and the turbo noise starts at -0.1 to the positive boost range.. and at idle, nothing to hear.. you can hear it at rev, but only when you are about 3000 til 4000++rpms. i think it is because i am close to 0 boost range right???? jza800
here is a video off the play, what do you say dead turbo or??? https://youtu.be/ORfCp6xzsXs
Ric
you shouldnt hear the bov if it's the stock one, which you can, quite loudly so i'd say it's bust, or a broken pipe.

Dim Sum
I think its going to be hard to say. But go with the basics first: Check all pipes Check all the VSV are working

jza800
Is indeed they are is it posible that is why i am overboosting, because in seq boost like stock.. ttc overboost to 1.2 to 1.4 bar..
Big Supes
In your case, I would attribute boost spike to the knackered turbos, definitely.
jza800
Can you trie to explain how that happen/posible?? It would be a knowledge which is nice to have
Big Supes
A worn turbo shaft or bearing (probably both in your case) will cause inconsistent spool as well as an inconsistent boost peak. The later is caused, IIRC, due to unstable turbo pressure equalisation on the wastegate.
