Or better, a similar idea with electronic solenoids to operate the latch mechanisms if you can find it (same as is used on some fuel filler flaps). baldy Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 a stock bonnet might move a bit, but if its shut properly it will not come up due to air getting under it. you'll have trouble getting a bonnet up with a pry bar if its shut properly. supra matt Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Are your 80miles from me bit to far mate your be fine doing it you have plenty of common sense, just put plenty of masking tap on the top and then you can mark it all out, Use square on the front edge of the bonnet to get the line then just put the template on the masking tape and draw round it, Then jigsaw it out :-) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
