JayJay1374 Posted October 31, 2013 Share Posted October 31, 2013 Hi Guys, after getting my car back after having the valve stems replaced and turbos changed the second turbo isnt working, so anyway. when on boost the first turbo pulls to 0.7bar then as soon as the second turbo should kick in it looses boost. The boost drops to around 0.5 the slowly falls the higher in the revs it goes. its probably a problem with the wrong hose on the wrong place or something similar, could anyone shed some light please? ive been studying the sequential system problems as much as possible, its asif the EGCV isnt opening. the car boosted fine before the turbos where changed, only reason they were changed was due to the oil seals leaking, so all the actuators functioned properly before. It's sealed enough to take the pressure from 1 turbo but can't take it from both and letting the air out the silicon joiner. Sh1t clamps or incorrectly positioned pipework if you ask me. Check, if all the hoses are connected right and that there are no air leaks. Had the similar issue on mine. I put it down to a faulty vsv, after reading up about it, but to this day, I still don't know what one it could be - so its stayed in ttc mode! JayJay1374 Posted November 13, 2013 Author Share Posted November 13, 2013 well not great news, after converting to TTC it doesnt really run any different, still no boost increase, so it looks like im going to have to start stripping the turbo side and hopefully find a split hose or something......
