tomsupra1 Posted October 6, 2012 Share Posted October 6, 2012 Hi everyone, I have recently got a 1994 3.0 l NA supra, which has been stood at a friends house for 3 years. As expected, it will not start It will tick over but will not fire. However will idle slightly when spraying easy start down the throttle body. Whats my next stage of attack? Do some immobilizers stop power to the fuel pump? Will the fuel be 'stale'? Off down to the garage to work on it at 10 am, so any help much appreciated. Tank or somewhere near the engine (just after fuel filter underneath the car looks easiest). Battery is one off my old Nova however I am jumping it from a van, and its ticking over strongly. Scooter Posted October 6, 2012 Share Posted October 6, 2012 if you go in the boot and remove the carpet, black cover and spare wheel you should be able to hear if the pumps running at any point. You can bridge x2 pins on the diagnostic port in the engine bay (or you can on a tt at least) and it'll prime the fuel line (you can hear the fuel flowing) which would at least prove the pump is operational.
