Boge
Hey guys, Searching through eBay and came across these "TAKEN FROM A 2000 MITSUBISHI EVOLUTION 6 TOMMI MAKINEN EDITION" Apparently these have been used on a supra before any ideas on fitment or I'd they'd be any good? Due to lack of cash I won't be bidding so feel free!!
Boge
On this note. What brakes from other cars would fit and work well on the mkiv? (ie better thank stock but relatively simple to swap)
Dnk
Being Brembo's they will be very good, their very similar to the UK spec set up having 4 piston fronts and 2 piston rears, these can bought from Toyota brand new for approx £1200 for calipers, discs and pads. Ian C
I recall, from years past, that while Evo brakes fit, they are a downgrade from UK spec brakes?
Dnk
I recall, from years past, that while Evo brakes fit, they are a downgrade from UK spec brakes? I don't recall hearing that, unless they use a smaller diameter disc i don't see why they wouldn't be as good if not better. Very expensive though and new Brembo 4 piston fronts are going to be around £2500 ish

FWIW I remember reading similar to Ian's thoughts, but can't recall the exact context. Someone did it.

Dnk
Bigger diameter disc gives you more braking power as well as the caliper size/piston size. I'm not saying its not the case but don't see why they would be a downgrade to UK specs, i don't know the spec on the Brembo's or have ever used them so was just thinking in an engineering fashion as to why. Boge
Found some more this time from a 2005 impreza STi.... Would they fit/ made to fit easily/cheaply and would this be of benefit rather than uk brakes (I'm guessing it will be an improvement from the j specs)
