No I don't :)

 

Only if the tester thinks its a UK spec.

 

Which after I tell him he knows its not a UK and doesn't have any data as its too old to have a jspec on the system. :thumbs:

my tester [whos friendly ] says it wont pass with out cats

 

As the N/A was never sold in the UK the will be no match for it on the database as the DB only has data for MKiv's with a JZA80 chassis and a 2JZ-GTE engine, so as there's no match for it then if it was first used before 1st August 1995 then it takes a non CAT test :)

 

If he queries it then its in the 2012 tester manual flowchart for emissions, 7.3 P9.

that only applies if the car is pre-95, technically speaking all cars post 95 have to run a cat regardless of emissions under new regulation this year
