Noz
Currently have a 2.5" system. I have a 3" downpipe and 3" mid pipe, so its just the system that's holding me back on the exhaust flow. Was wondering if there is much gain going to 4" instead of 3". I'd like a different system as mine is too quiet, didn't know if there was a huge jump in performance between the two. Never owned such a system thought it best to ask. I want this to be the last time I swap them around so want to get it right!
Tyson
What power are you hoping to make as I think this will be a deciding factor in which size you go for.
welshbuddy
I'm sure 3" is good for 700bhp ain't it?
johnny g
3" will see you well into the 700's

Nic
3" will also give you slightly better ground clearance.
Noz
How come? I would of thought the 3" would be closer to the ground.
JamieP
How come? I would of thought the 3" would be closer to the ground. Really?
Littler
How come? I would of thought the 3" would be closer to the ground. I think Nic's comparing the ground clearance between 3" and 4" rather than 3" and 2.5"

Noz
Really? I thought Nic meant against my current 2.5" system, mis-read it

I would of thought higher boost applications having a larger volume of air would of had a bigger difference with larger bore piping.
