Wish i never started with mine tbh, has cost me a fortune, £200 to you for the badly fitting bonnet and £960 to Noel for the mould and carbon hump with fitting.

Jamie thats not a bad price mate, your going to have a awesome looking bonnet. i spent that on the bonnet and repairs and it still didnt fit lol then i sold it for £200.... You have improved your car 100% with that bonnet imo

how long would you say, in hours, would you say youve spent on the engine/engine bay,

ive been doing a little tidying and cleaning on mine, taken bloody ages, makes me think how long it must take you or hodge to make yours look as good as they do..

well just to smooth the engine bay and paint took us 2 weeks with full days, roughly 96hours- And that was really hard graft.

polishing takes ages but needs doing even if the item is then sent off for chroming and then.............. Gold plating is a long process

God knows how many hours have gone into the engine and even bolts not seen have been chromed or gold plated. Just a hobby and i have always wanted a engine like this BUT im not looking forward to cleaning it after every run lol

What you doing with your breather kit

Not too sure, ill leave it to Lee, prob run lines to the back of the car like Jamie's. Im just leaving everything now in Lee's hands, even when he come down the garage to do the engine loom, he works at a stupidly fast pace and he cuts not corners... i know the car will be looked after and the work will be top notch.
