johnny g
Typical McLaren that site. Very clinical - not a lot of feel.

marbleapple
Are they expensive cars? I love the McLaren F1 but I always found it relatively boring looking. I love the DBRS at the moment
edinlexusV8
Def agree, everybody have their own tastes, I like McLaren for their clinical approach ...
Josh
http://www.ohgizmo.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/mclaren_mp412c.jpg I prefer the looks of the F1.
Nic
I prefer the looks of the F1. Me too. The engineering of the MP4-12C maybe special, not liking the styling though.
imi
Me too. The engineering of the MP4-12C maybe special, not liking the styling though. Couldn't agree more
Josh
The MP4-12c looks sort of like a Lotus Evora, just a bit bigger.
j_jza80
Still not decided on the MP4-12C. There's definately some F1 DNA in there, but much of the styling is obviously influenced by the Gallardo and the F430 (not necessarily a bad thing ) As a drivers car, I think we can expect great things. The F1 will always be something more special for me though, possibly as it comes from a time when sighting Super / Hyper cars was uncommon. It would definately have a place in my dream garage
edinlexusV8
From what I have heard about MP4-12C on the internet, I have a feeling that this is going to break a few records currently set by other cars. It will not be the fasted to 60mph car nor it will be the car clocking the highest miles per hour but I have feeling that it will break the lap times set by other cars on a lot of tracks. Bobbeh
The old Mac F1 has a distinctive look, whereas the newer model looks great, but could be, as has been said quite easily, a Lotus! (not a bad thing)
Nic
The main styling areas that don't do it for me are; the side vents, the front/rear black slatted sections and the wheels. Just looks bland to me, could have looked so much better.
jimojameso
They look much better in the flesh than they do in pics! Prices got announced last week from £168,000 too. A very good car

colsoop
A lot of the lines from the old F1 are in this new car i like the look of it. It will be interesting to see if its as successfull as the F1 on track.
Gaz6002
BTW, this car is aimed at competing with the Ferrari 458. It was never meant to be an F1 challenger. That's coming later
