Robbie never ran launch and was BL auto / hi stall on a 67 in the 10's IIRC...

Just in the 10's, thats the same set up as I used to run my first 10, bet his 60' was crap though and he made it up down the strip with sheer power, your time was purely down to the car getting off the line really well, it was not down to power as the relatively low terminal speed shows, the whole set up must have 'gelled' really well.

Robbies 60ft was 1.5 (best 60ft on the board) most 60fts are listed in the drag racing thread.

My 60ft is terrible, hope to change that at suprapod though.

Other 11's I ran at other strips saw 121 MPH terminals... Santa Pod terminals seem to be lower for whatever reason - some claim headwinds at Pod.

I'm pretty certain I got the best 60ft I could for my power level. Haven't seen any other BPU+ cars on the forum with such a low 60ft.

Never managed to have it dyno'd but on the strip it felt very strong - 450 ish fly probably, never have been one to go on bhp though!

Homer could give a 2nd opinion on that - he had a shot and seemed impressed anyways.

lol - good stuff mate!!

i still have a sneaky feeling SupraHumans car is going to take some beating with the spec of his build and the TH400 autobox pushing him along!

Yup, that could well be the car to watch out for, perfect setup for drag racing, there is a few others that could do it, steve sherwood for one.

A 67 will do 11's easy on normal road tyres, now your boost is sorted you will romp that jay.

I defy your blithe assurances with my struggle to crack the high 12's in such a setup. I think you'll find driver incompetence can easily overwhelm power and grip capabilites
