yeh good plan :) thanks for the help, no ones said 'what an idiot yet' so i may be doing ok on here :) any ideas the cost of retrims from the gibson place?

does the front end of mine look alright i.e the bumper/splitter amongst supra fans, jus want other opinions as i keep umming and aring

Im sure someone's waiting to jump on you, just research as much as you can and don't type in txt speak, oh and don't spell "your" incorrectly and you might just be okay :D

I'd guess for a proper retrim front and rear seats has got to be around £1000 and probably more at Gibsons.

It's a personal thing but i think it looks good but yours needs repairing, should be pretty easy to do and needs glassing up from the inside 1st then repair the outside.

might be little expesive and unsure where to get it done butcould you have the carbon bit with a red weave in the carbon, seen a few bonnets wth a coloured thread in the weave

Or get the carbon sprayed in a clear red laquer...

vbpgimage.php?do=full&p=6043&d=1172520708

That's a burgundy candy clearcoat on my bonnet, so looks quite dark. When the sun hits it, it really shines out with the weave.

wow nice bonnet, so thats just a carbon bonnet with a colour laquer over it? was the paint expensive?

Yep, nothing special, so to speak, just paint. Bonnet boot and doors are all painted carbon, the body is the same colour over a metallic gold basecoat.

The paint is House of Kolor 'Brandywine Red Kandy' which was something like £60 / litre (I'd have to have a root through my old build threads to see if I listed prices), but there are cheaper ones available. You can buy clear laquer tints that you just mix in with the laquer and spray on which are way cheaper. Plus, if you're only doing little bits, you'd not need very much.

some pics

I think it looks good as it is, just needs the front lip tidying up with a respray. I'd possibly fit a white TRD rear wing, that'd be it though for me. Too many exterior badges and accessories can make it look like you've done a Halfords ram raid.

I'd spend the money on the mechanical side of things, suspension, brakes, tyres, etc.

I agree, facelift rear lights is what I'd do and if you must decent wheels - not saying yours aren't decent, but some blitz type 3 wheels would look the bees knees. :D

Nice car. I was going to look at this car in November but he had it up for 5.5k which I thought was too pricey. One of the best N/A's advertised though. From the pics I saw on PH I would keep it mainly as is and not go to over the top ;)

scotty

ahh right, thanks scotty yeh i fell for it as soon as i saw it, more so when he took me out in it.

all ive done is a few little decorative bits (gaiters etc) and had it raised 20mm as it was on its lowest setting :s

glad it gets the thumbs up though :)

personal opinion though nic, i replaced grubby white gaiters for red leather, and the real silver carbon fibre panels are just a bit different, think they look quite nice :)

Needs better pics to pass comment in my opinion so get some better ones sorted asap :D

Are they stick on carbon or wtp as it looks like they wrap round the curves of the dash much better than the stick on kits ?

Brand new dash parts are getting on for £500, i'd strip them and then paint them rather than buy new.
