Did anyone hear on the radio or news that Kylie has breast cancer. I appreciate that lots of ordinary people suffer from breast cancer but you don't expect it to happen to, dare I use the word "superstars".

It really could happen to anyone. :(

As Paul E suggested we should have a nominated charity and as cancer can affect any age and any gender I reckon its the charity concern to back!!!

Best wishes go to kylie and anyone else suffering from this terrible illness.

Just to add, in all seriousness, that the girls should be examining there breasts and armpits regularly and the boys their testicals. Once a week in the shower or bath is such an easy thing to do and can possibly prevent a lot of heartache.

Real sad news...Though in a positive light, at least when someone like Kylie gets it, it gets lots of media attention and the Cancer charities get a few more bob and the subject gets highlighted...plus there are prob a few people who have thought of having a scan today...so in a way...it may of saved some people too...hope her treatment is successful.

I prefer to check my other half's bits and she checks mine, makes a serious subject a bit more fun ;)

My sister had breast cancer shortly after the birth of her second child. Thinking through all the ramifications of the diagnosis was possibly the worst thing we, as a family, have ever had to do. All she kept on about was, if the worst happened, make sure the kids were okay.

She beat it though and now helps out with a couple of cancer orgs and I'd be well happy to contribute to any fund raising we, as a club, do.
