David P
Picked up some screen wash when I filled up at the Essso garage today, 2.5 litres of ready diluted. Gave it back at the till when I found out they are charging £6.75 for it
Abz
Was it a normal high street Esso or one off a motorway? The motorway ones seem to think because you are kind of in the middle of no where they can charge as much as they like because you can't go elsewhere! I remember a halegon bulb costing me around £9 or as it normally is £5!

Bobbeh
I had to get some out of a Total garage pump, it was blue, but just froze up on my wiper blades when I used it! Not very handy!
David P
Total are at it too then
icemanv6
If they have the concentrate stuff for cheap just buy that, buy a bottle of water have a bit, then pour some of the screenwash into it, should work out cheaper, atleast it has been for me when I ran out
David P
That must have been really cheap stuff, a bottle of water is over £2 a pint in those places I drink tap water, and so does my Supra, maybe I am just an old skinflint
Rob
What's the mix of ready mixed stuff though, as it has some water in it? I've been putting neat concentrate in the Audis and its still freezing up.
David P
Halfords do a -40oC That should do the trick.
TLicense
I use Autoglyms offering. Apparently it's good to -45oC and in reality is good so far at -16.
ilicos
I bought 5 litres for £5 from Homebase. Job done!!!
Soop Dogg
In Russia, loads of people use neat, 100 proof vodka in their washer bottles as it's cheaper than screenwash and doesn't freeze until about -40°C Can't see any of us doing that, though! Konrad
Just use methanol - cheap and effective - do not drink it tho!
