What is the spool like with the larger housing? What would you say if I told you an MR2 got, a claimed, 720bhp from the same turbo on a 4cyl 3SGTE engine on vpower with 2 bar of boost? I have been told that they can run upto 700hp but mine started surging ubove 2 bar so i have bought a gt4094 to replace it:) mine was with vpower I cant see how you can get more power with less cc at the same boost unless your running nos or race fuel? my 629hp was with v power and @ 2bar but that was the turbo at its limit. at 1.8bar it was making 600hp so thats where i left it. RPM and agressive fuel/ign map and it might be possible, though I doubt the figure unless it was running exotic fuel and massive RPM. I have said in the thread I think the RR is suspect but I don't want to piss ALL over the guys figure. He has so much experience with the MR2 that I can't understand why he isn't suspect of the figure himself. Saying that, he hasn't replied since I questioned it so will wait and see.
