Off down to where all the parts are on Friday/Saturday so will have complete details plus pics to put up over the weekend - this also applies to ALL the other parts currently listed for sale.

 

As mentioned earlier, all the postable parts I shall bring back with me to send from Lincoln, the heavier bits (such as gearbox etc) will stay down there for collection or, if people want, they can be fitted on-site!

Amazing right?!

 

I sat there open mouthed staring at the computer screen for many minutes before re-reading it again and again. Without a word of a lie, I was almost in tears reading it. The level of generosity here is stunning, the altruism is without comparison. I simply could not believe it (and still can't to be honest). He described the offer as 'what club spirit is supposed to be about' but this, I feel, is far above and beyond that, far beyond.

 

After several more PMs backwards and forwards to the member, with me expressing disbelief and untold gratitude, it was agreed that we would start a thread to list the parts that are available for sale and add details, prices and pics over the next day or so.

 

The member wants to remain anonymous - something I respect totally but really would like to take this public opportunity to say a massive and truly heartfelt thank-you to. Rest assured I shall be making a trip to see them in person, in the car naturally, when the old girl is back in one piece!

 

Initially it would be great if anybody who is genuinely interested in the parts to get in touch (in this thread or via PM) and register interest so that we can estimate a total. I can then get in touch with the bodyshop and see what we can add back into the repair to get back towards fixing everything that needs doing rather than cutting a few corners and missing bits off. Any money raised above and beyond what is needed will be passed back to the member.

 

All but 2 of the items (the new Whifbitz 2nd decat and New DoLuck braided brake lines) are currently in the UK and we are hoping to sort out postage for the smaller items but think the larger, heavier items might need to be offered as collection only.

 

So again, thank you to the member for this quite incredible offer, I will never be able to repay the debt of gratitude I owe you and to members here I politely ask for anyone interested in these parts to register your interest when you can.

Hi all - right, am travelling tomorrow morning to collect as many parts as possible to bring back. Will be travelling down the A1 and round the M25 predominantly so if anybody wants anything dropping off on the way back or info about the bits whilst I'm there, call me on my mobile: 0786 797 6641.
