Kearney Posted August 20, 2009 Author Share Posted August 20, 2009 The reason I put my name down twice (here & dtd) was so I could get out on the track twice to make the trip worthwhile. I'm not trailering the car to Mondello for one 20 min spin. Kev will need to recitfy the situation and get the 2nd place allocated to the supras back because if I have to choose I will choose the trackday on the 7th, simple as. I'm not trying to be a PITA, its just not practical to work it any other way. Look if its going to be like that you can have my space, it was a fuck up on kev's behalf as he gave out the places but I really don't mind I've been around mondello 100's of times. Problem solved I was just about to post here that you can have either of the spaces that I had booked. I am going to make my apologies to Veronica on dtd as I can't make it that day. This is not me throwing a strop, honestly, you are welcome to either space or both for that matter, the decision of whether I was going or not has been made for me so thats an end to the problem. Moving house that weekend and it is not negotiable it appears! Next year tho. I'm still going to several track days before the end of the year so I might see you at one or two of those. As much as is car is a soarer and not a supra he is a valued member on the site (well the one who made me buy the supra ) and his car is gorgeous so I think it also deserves a spot too. Basically the free passes are only to cars that are purely for shows i.e. not able to be driven on the road. I said to her could she not look after us on this one but unfortunetly not. After finally getting this sorted this is the way I'm going to do it that I've agreed with sharon from mondello. I'm going to need everyone to log onto http://www.mondello.ie and pay online for a ticket. It costs €15. If they could then send me over the reference from it and the details of them and the car I can put there details down then. I'm going to get a complete list together so we can put this one to bed as there has been quite a few mix ups until today. But this is the way it needs to be done. Anyone thats mailed me I'll tick them off it and put beside if they have or haven't bought their ticket. We all need to be there on the 6th (sunday) at 7.30 to set up the stand. I have no issue with them making a few bob but its our cars that are on display on track etc that they'll be making off from fee-paying public so dont see why we should have to pay when I received an e-mail that gave 6 free passes. Nothing on that outlined it needs be "show cars only" that would get preferential free tickets. Also 7.30am ? Not a hope would I be there for that time if I was to go anyway. I don't mind if for instance there is 10 cars, we have 6 passes and the other 4 cars costs are split between the 10.
