How much boost

Tourniquet

Recommended Posts

Surely its more down to the power and torque being produced, ie the size of the turbo and supporting mods.

600fwhp has long been a safe recommended maximum for stock internals, this depends on the condition of the engine, yes some others run more and in the US they have run lots more but for how long who knows.

All this is also dependant on decent fuel and ignition maps, you could easily destroy a built motor at less than stock power if not setup correctly.

I ran 618 bhp,623 ftlb,at 2 bar,at jap show,santa pod last month.Below 6k rpm because of leaning,No,,not at the bar!!!.unmapped,ever.just a mines e.c.u,and a few bits and bobs.Stock engine.

Fen tuning at its best,or possibly its worst. All the same i didnt expect it.Nor do i think its clever,a risky game id say.Awefully funny,as long as chel dont no what it costs.
