So started fitting brake lines, I wanted these to look right, not a fan of the nasty standard copper pipe, looks crap. Braided just is not practical to run complete front to back.

It is my brake lines, not sure i want to share my secrete with you all!

Simple, copper brake pipe, straighten, so it's perfectly straight, I hate wiggly brake pipe, then electrical heat shrink wrap.

How's that? Looks a lot better than copper don't ya think?

Shots of the inter cooler, and radiator. They sit together, although there are separate units-

The boost pipe routing, although not bad isn't perfect, what I so single turbo, who'll lop these of and have them redirected for better flow and easy of pipe, but will do for now happily

 

The oem Toyota hose fits to the rad perfectly, top hose will be the challenging one, but not a massive problem, but require a filler cap, af supra has cap in radiator, and the cosworth has a header tank.

yeaaaah.... knew thats what it was but asked anyway out of politeness. haha.... looks good actually. better than squint and buckled copper jobbies.

Yeah, another custom thing on my car, might not be putting mega bucks into it, but more custom bits and touches than some cars costing 4 times the amount....

So, started fixing boot panels in, nothing special, drill and pop rivets.

 

All so finished off the hydro handbrake, which involved making a bar with threaded ends to connect the master cylinder and the level.

So long tube, chopped it to length

Nut welded on, this shows it partly cleaned up,

Adding male threaded end

Welded on, shown with lock nut on

Fitted up, well just need to get a bolt and replace the screw driver

So, car is now on to 3rd grinder, fed up of it chewing power tools

So first up tomorrow is a tidy up, things every where, and doing my nut in.

So,

Car now runs

Loom is in and out being stripped/ shorted/ relocated

Custom fuel tank and swirl pot are ready and located in car

Fuel lines run on place, need fixing in

Intercollegiate and rad are mounted

Brackets for oil cooler have been made

looks like a fun project be awsome to see this side ways :-D

 

 

 

Just read this project and it's been a long time coming hasn't it! look forward to the latest updates. Love the detail.

 

Thanks guys, yes, it has been an aweful long time,

I'm on a mega tight budget, and when I have money, I have no time, and when I have time- I have no money!

 

But it's getting closer to moving...
