Guest spinthepilot
Yeah I know, I'll get pilloried as thick, but please, EXACTLY what does the twin function 'upper/lower arrow - Auto' button do on the air control panel, yeah I have just turned it on on watched, but am fascinated to know actually what Toyota intended it to do! Thanks from, apparantly acording to my other half, 'an anorak' - oh so embarassising....
supra_surj
If your talking about on the fan/heater controls then its a climate control. You set the temp and hit auto. This will set the cool/hot air until the temp becomes to what you set it. I think! Lol!

Guest spinthepilot
Yup, I've played with it 'endlessly' - was more curious what Toyota was aiming to do with it as it takes control ( so to speak ) of both fan speed and where the air is outlet from. Still - I think I'll go back to gazing at the fluff in my belly button now. Matt - that was me told! but I can't argue!! ( sadly!! ) Edited February 20, 2009 by spinthepilot (see edit history)

I believe it also controls which vents the air comes out of depending on the temperature, footwell for warmer, and dash for cooler. Mike
stevie_b
So it doesn't control the flux capacitor then?
Dave17
So it doesn't control the flux capacitor then? I didn't think NA's could hit 88 anyway, so there would be no need for the flux capacitor
