Vented stock bonnet

Hmm, shopping lists and mirror tints functional? :D

The mirror tints are a security feature :p

The shopping list you've got me bang to rights

The louvres work nicely. They face backwards so create a low pressure zone while driving, drawing air towards the intake filter and sucking hot air from the turbo/manifold area. You can see a heat haze coming from them as well, as someone already said. And they do look rather nice.

Haven't got any pics to hand but there must be some on here somewhere :)

I want to lose some heat from under the bonnet but really dont want a fibreglass/carbon bonnet

my thoughts exactly Jamie, you see some absolutely shocking fitting aftermarket bonnets and to me its stuff like this that makes the car, call me a train spotter but i see much pleasure in a panel line being 5mm at one end and 5mm at tother :senile:, cant help thinking mine would look reasonable on a black car :eyebrows: although maybe a bit extreme for the stock(ish) look :)

Id love the same as yours, if you fancy building another let me know;) id imagine it would not be cost effective though, i can see a lot of hours in that? the car is going in on tuesday now to get the bits of bodywork done and Dave is doing mine similar to Ibrar's one.

yes your right Jamie there was probably about 50 hours in it total but another would be a lot less now i've gone through the learning curve, i also only like doing stuff like this in the garage when the weathers nice :cold: (soft arse northerner)
