i dont like the sound of the colour! a recon a real nice blue! som eof the blue ones that were at jap fest were lush! kinda like silicone blue? stands out! or white will make it look even wider!!

Any news on this ?

Car is due to be painted at the end of this week.

Had a delay with colour choice as the painter wanted to suggest some other idea's.

Now need to source a base coat as the chosen paint is very specific.

Suspension is due to land at the end of this week too.

Coming close to an end now :( Be sad to see it go ;)

Can't wait, Jon has sent me a sample of a VERY nice VERY expensive TVR paint and manged to get his boss to agree to do the work for the same price as the original quote.

This basically means that http://www.hiltonaccidentrepair.co.uk are doing the extra work for the cost of the paint.

So a massive thank you to Jon and http://www.hiltonaccidentrepair.co.uk

The cost of the paint and a bit of free advertising for http://www.hiltonaccidentrepair.co.uk perchance?

:innocent:

Glad it's being sorted though, looking forward to seeing some final pics, sounds and looks as though it's in very safe hands.

To be fair no one has asked me to give them free advertising, but I think it's only right to give them a mention (or two) given the cost of the paint and the absolute attention to detail in their workmanship

No advertising requested or agreed and it wont be - Thanks anyway though steve :)

I would like to think the car is in safe hands, while the car is here I feel like it belongs to me.

The guys has really enjoyed working on the project as its so different to the norm.

I just checked and we have now spent 140 hours on the car

Im away on holiday next week but will be coming in to see the car as im nearly as excited as Steve, especially with the colour. (Only trouble is, i doubt the colour will show its self off in a photograph :()

Damn you Matt it took me ages to decide and I was really happy with my final colour choice and now you have gone and shown me another that I really like.

What a fantastic colour, oh well too late now I will just have to be happy with the one I have chosen, it is quite special though and should look stunning but as Jon said it will probably not show it's best in a photo. I can't wait

The paint is TVR Nebula Black, it's a difficult paint to photo well but I have a sample of it here and it can be virtually jet black until the light catches it then it comes alive with a multitude of colours. Probably not every ones cup of tea but I love it and the style of the car really required something different.

I am not sure on the wheels yet, I will see what they look like once it is finished but will definitely not (according to my good lady) be getting new wheels, although I may change the colour.

Few more pics, looks quite dusty because they are still working on it and it will look a lot different in the sun once it is polished. I can't wait to see it finished.

The last picture is of a TVR done in the same paint to give an idea of what it will look like in the sun
