oooooh VCT.....bet you dream about it lol

Dude. You're making an idiot of yourself (don't know if you realise this or not).

Just bin the argument and ask seriously peoples thoughts on a 2JZ-GE vs. H22 and you might get a normal response.

This is how Honda’s VTEC works:

Honda’s VTEC uses two sets of cam shaft profiles – one for low and mid range rpm and another for high rpm operation. An electronic switch shifts between the two profiles at a specific rpm to increase peak horsepower and improve torque. When you ride Honda’s car, you can both hear and feel the change when the ‘VTEC’ kicks in at higher rpm to improve performance. While this system does not offer continuously variable valve timing, it can make most of high rpm operation while still providing solid driveability at lower rpm levels.

do you know that by engaging vtec at 3500rpm (the lowest setting most vtec controllers allow) you are actually hurting your engine. Your running on a high lift high duration cam profile because you've manually switched the vtec solenoid but the ECU still thinks your below vtec so it continues to run the engine on the low map(non vtec) untill 5200 when vtec is supposed to come in on an H22. And a 2.2 prelude would never touch an m3, especially with a slush box on the side of it.

Prelude is RWD...Accelerates well....scared an M3 recently, beat me for speed....but gave him something to think about ! I've looked at 300ZX's but they're big...200SX ok but not keen on shape....Skyline, love the back end...hate the front....Prelude VTI'S look like a vauxhall chevette at the front !!!....Supra, beautiful all round ( just like my 1992 prelude ;0) ).....it's just a question of researching the different types and getting a good deal....!

With all those ellipses....it's like reading a transcription of...William Shatner...delivering...his lines.
