Whitesupraboy2
Stolen from another forum. I would buy one of these dinky cars for day to day runner, Could then use the sup as a pure toy! http://www.autojunk.nl/clips/view/141683

dangerous brain
Flippin hell all we need is a roof scoop in this country and its limitless free driving for everyone in this country. Surely this is some sort of spoof. If not that'll turn the bloody desert back into a wasteland worth nothing. Be interesting to see how long certain armed forces hang around when our cars can all run from rain water.

Dazzi
River, Rain or Sea water ey? How will the Government make Duty on 'free' water? Doh! Tax us evertime it rains
jazz1
it would be cool because that would put the greedy petrol stations out of business
Whitesupraboy2
ohh thats easy by the way... Road tax £1000 for a water car...they will get their money one way or another.
Dazzi
it would be cool because that would put the greedy petrol stations out of business But then we would get water shortages like the hosepipe bans. We would receive fines for filling up from a river or 'catching' our own water. All this will lead us back to square one, like the present day. Carl_S
So what does this do to the water? sorry to sound dumb but will it turn into vapour, Im sure it wont be used up?!? i wonder if it spilts the H from H20 by using cathodes and anodes, then uses that in a combustion engine? Also wonder if oil companies would buy idea to keep it under wraps and protect their profits, but is that reality or fantasy?
Whitesupraboy2
Oxygen wrong mate. when a current is run through the water it produces HHO (a Gas) ,which is a highly flamable gas 2 parts hydrogen to 1 part oxygen (in high quantities and also has more power to it then petrol.) Pound for Pound It is 3 times more potent then petrol. they have found a way to change it on the fly quick enough to power the car. You make a small test easily yourself at home. Ewen
Ive just had to read this whole thread, Im going to sum it up pretty quickly. There was some willy waving...it appears it was a small willy waving. They informed the willy waver it was a small willy they waving and they werent happy with the size of it so they werent getting the product. How did I do Pretty much spot on. Whitesupraboy2
I thought they were using the Hydrogen out of the water hence the left over oxygen? the gas produced is HH0. No point breaking something down more thats perfect for burning! your thinking of the cell technology where they have hydrogen cells. this is different this is running on water like you would on petrol, no batteries holding the nergy its done on the fly. But it takes a lot of energy to split H2o to HHO. I think i heard they use some sort of "metal" of some kind to do reaction.
stevie_b
HHO? That would be H2O, wouldn't it? Something about this doesn't sound right. Surely you'd need an awful lot of energy to break the chemical bonds in a water molecule.

I think i heard they use some sort of "metal" of some kind to do reaction. na very simple and can easily be run under 3amps on a car battery and as the engine runs an alternator it puts the energy back in. Like i say i dont know how they got it to such a big scale. what they do is they send a current through wrapped steal cords I think and they use a catalyst in the water (baking soda) on these little models. However like i said these units couldnt produce massive amounts.

Guest sunnyG83
I can imagine why he is dead, as im sure those massive oil companys would not have been keen on his new fuel killing their market. And im sure that the governments make far too much money on fuel tax to suddenly welcome this new source also. Its really quite sad when you think about it
