jevansio
Pffft, permies attitude! You'd not be saying that if you were contracting there, would you matey? Poor contractors, get paid a shed load of money compared to normal folk, then when the pinch sets in they expect the same graces, as far as I'm concerned , you go contracting, you get big money, you takes your chances, don't come crying to me when you take a day off & don't get paid for it

Pete
Our local rag is doing their bit to fuel the panic. Apparently we're running dry in Telford. Fuel running out at pumps
Max Headroom
Its funny that world oil consumtion has gone down! The prices we pay are being driven up by speculators on the money markets. Nothing to do with market forces!!!

Branners
no problems with the BP garages round here at all, filled up the MR2 and the Vectra. They reported in the paper the other day that the truck drivers have been offered a pay deal that would bring them up to £39,000 per year. Whether thats true or not I dont know, but seems a fair wage for sitting on their arse, listening to Radio2 all day and making motorists life hell.
