JustGav
Out of interest, given the size of the turbines, what is the expected power output from that. And does it buzz the cows?

Daston
what makes me laugh is the saving in energy/carbon used in their constuction and delivery etc will take much longer than it will actualy be standing.

Franko
25years? will they just replace the parts or is that it game over? In 25 years its the end of the world after a full scale nuclear attack but areas with wind turbines will be uneffected as the turbines blow the nuclear fallout away

Gaz6002
I find that sort of stuff really interesting! Make sure you post the dates you're transporting the things though so I don't get held up 3000 homes each is pretty impressive really. They've got so many of these in Germany now. Opinions seem pretty split on the aethetics though. Personally I think they look cool and modern but some just think they are an eyesore.
