Havard
Ah! Institutionalised. One of my favourite songs ever. vXK0Hjfkrgw Can't Bring Me Down was my favourite by ST. Shame about Xentrix, my cousin Kris was lead guitarist but I don't speak to him anymore after a family fued. Really talented musician, he know owns a company that does promotional videos. He'll be 40 now!! H.
Havard
_0M9Tl1fx4Y Looks like my cousin needs to lose some weight. Great track though!!
Animal
I think "Crimes" and "Nobody's Perfect" are the best 2 songs although the "Shattered Existence" album still ranks in my favourites and I don't think there's a duff song on it. Chris used to work with my dad at Dutton Forshaws when they were still Sweet Vengeance. Used to get all sorts of good metal tapes off him.

Kris used to come to ours and show me a few riffs etc but when his dad died (my dads brother) he disappeared with his inheritance in 1991 and never bothered with any of the Havards. Shame really! Love some of the Xentrix stuff but it makes me feel a bit wierd!! H.

heartworm
The new Slayer album is the worst in a while, I rather liked god hates us all before it though. Anyone going to any of the upcoming Exodus dates, should be pretty awesome
jaymdee
The new Slayer album is the worst in a while, I rather liked god hates us all before it though. Can't agree there. Christ Illusion is blistering. I thought GHUA and Diabolicus in Musica were a bit weak to be honest.
Animal
Christ Illusion wasn't as instantly striking as God Hates Us All, but it did grow on me. I've not looked at the Exodus tour dates yet, but that'd definately be a show to see.
Supra ST Myster
Morbid Angel and sepultura are good bands, "arise" is a great album by sepultura!

Ark
Had a Slayer medley in the car this morning - Reign in Blood, closely followed by Seasons in The Abyss. I only just realised why the red traffic lights were making me so angry this morning Going wimpy for the drive home, with a spot of Bullet for my Valentine (Scream, Aim , Fire)

Animal
Morbid Angel and sepultura are good bands, "arise" is a great album by sepultura! First couple of Morbid Angel albums are good, not too keen on the rest. Arise & Beneath the Remains are both top albums. Excellent cover of Orgasmatron on the Roots bonus disk. Bolt Thrower, Death, Obituary, Exhorder, Deicide, Terrorizer, Carcass & Entombed rate highly in the death metal front. Exhorder, "Slaughter in The Vatican" is worth a listen. PhatB
I was thinking of putting a post up to see if there were any metalheads on here, but I thought I'd do a search first Great to see so many of you on here! I've been a big Anthrax fan for years along with all the usual thrash bands. Gradually got into death metal too. Currently listening to Send More Paramedics, bringing back the 80's thrash vibe! Swampy442
Just discovered this thread Obituarys Cause of Death is one of my fave albums, as is the first Sepultura. Death angel, morbid angel, Cancer, Carcass, Suicidal Tendencies, Slayer (got most of their albums) Megadeth, Anthrax all formed my childhood music tastes and are all still on my Ipod lol. Also Mudvayne, Deftones, Korn Im big fans of, would love to see Korn live. Anyone heard of Hulls finest, Torsohorse? Not too bad. Talking of Brit bands, any Raging Speedhorn fans out there lol. Animal
Welcome guys, may I point you here if you haven't already seen it. He he, some good tracks there, Col. Evile and Bonded By Blood are pretty good old-school thrash revivals too. I'm currently listening to Onslaught's last album, Killing Peace - absolutely brutal thrash with lyrics that'd make Kerry King proud... scared some old guy half to death the other day when I stopped at a junction with the window open and the line "Spitting blood in the face of god" blasted out. martin1982
Gotta admit Evile were a nice surprise discovery for me. Looking forward to "Priest Fest" as well (mainly for Testament and a bit of the 'Deth!)
PhatB
Yeah I've recently discovered Evile, and they're pretty good. Also Iced Earth... Saw them supporting Anthrax a couple of years ago on the reunion tour, but wasn't too fussed but a mate had a few of their albums and I was impressed. I noticed in an earlier post someone mentioned Lawnmower Deth, I went to see them on their Billy tour and my Girlfriend at that time got Kev the guitarists dress off him! I also seem to remember Kev ending up being a roadie for Cannibal Corpse when I sawthem live a while later.
