  1. I've been watching this Doctors youtube videos since Covid started
  2. Very concerning regarding the Covid vaccines, I've been following this and do wonder what the hell was injected into me
  3. Agree with the angiogram and think I was pretty ignorant until my BP was done, i rarely go to a doctors so this was a bit of a wake up call. Had a full B service done inc bowl cancer etc tests and all clear at the moment. Doctor just said cut out/down the obvious and popped me on the Ramipril. Didn't mention Asprin
  4. First thing I did was get a BP monitor followed by the crash course with my diet, that's the hardest part when you start looking at what your eating, fats and saturated fat etc etc. I don't eat butter anymore along with pasties and pies and a full English is a rare treat. I quit smoking 10 + years ago but my biggest vice now is booze which I'm struggling to get anywhere near the guideline of 15 units a week
  5. Glad your ok, by accident last year I found out I had crazy high blood pressure, that bad I was told to go straight across the road from the pharmacy to my doctors to get checked out. Now on Ramipril 10mg and huge change in lifestyle, mainly diet. Blood pressures nigh on normal for a 63 year old and I've gone from 103kg to 85kg, without joining a gym. Blood tests came back all good recently and Cholesterol was lower Down side is I need new trousers but the upside is shirts that I squeezed into now fit I'm also looking at a new car but struggle to get past searching their faults then crossing it off my list
  6. Each to their own and not my cup of tea but a few of these I've seen have been awful when you look at the fit of the kit Personally think you'll just be devaluing your car by fitting this kit but all the best with it if you go ahead
  7. S900, S9500 or GT 05 ? So much work required to do these properly, did a TRD kit a long time ago and wouldn't contemplate doing it again unless you have your own body shop and no what your doing
  8. It'll be interesting to see how well its faired then ATB with it
  9. Has it been dry stored for the last 10 years ?

    Wrap, Dip or Paint

Thanks I think it looks so much better than the original Aluminium fabric trim. Once you have the trim out its really down to what's on its surface as to what you have to do. Mine was straight forward and basically got flatted then primed and flatted then sprayed black then lacquered.

    Snow Foam

Tested it today and its ok but doesn't foam up enough and the nozzle doesn't cover anything like my lance which to be fair I expected. Also to cover the car took over ten re pumps so it'll probably sit on the shelf with several other spray bottles I have I'll probably use it for my wheel cleaner spray

    Beard trimmers

    Wrap, Dip or Paint

Decided to go the Piano black route and we'll see how it well it lasts, as said no kids no wife so no problem hopefully Dropped the parts to my mates car repair shop and left them with him. by far my cheapest option which did sway me a little

    Snow Foam

I've bought one off Temu that I've seen advertised on facebook that looks like it might be ok. It was £7 so not the end of the world if its rubbish I bought some detailing brushes and a microfibre wash mit all for £11 so got free delivery too

    Snow Foam

I think there all going to be very similar. funny how super cheap chinese jobs get a sticker added and then treble the price. I was looking to do the whole car but guess i'll stick with the one i use hooked up to my jet wash

    Snow Foam

    Wrap, Dip or Paint

Carbon skinning would appear to be a tad above my budget 1 quote just landed for £1200 + vat !

    Wrap, Dip or Paint

Not many places doing this carbon skinning from what I can see I've contacted 3 so we'll see what response I get

    Wrap, Dip or Paint

I've started looking at the carbon skinning but from my searches I think this is going to be too expensive. It looks great though for sure

    Wrap, Dip or Paint

Finger prints wont be an issue as its only me in the car, no kids to worry about. Had piano black in my Range Rover with no problems, you just need to be careful I'm getting silly quotes this morning for dipping so almost crossed that off the list. Seems a few don't want the work as no reply to several enquiries A mate who does all my paintwork can do the Piano black so I'm beginning to think that's the route I'll go. I'll get him to give it plenty of lacquer then can be flatted if it did get scratched
  22. Maybe somewhere like AVILEC could test the ECU and repair if req https://www.avilec.co.uk/
  23. I'm changing the interior trim on my SLC, its currently Aluminium fabric, I've bought a spare set from breakers and going for a dark c/f look Would you hydrodip or wrap ? Or paint them and go Piano Black I'll be doing the center console trim, ash tray and the 2 door handle surrounds
