  1. will it make it to Mascrat tonight? if so, maybe one of the other Supra owners will know how to do it properly?
  2. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=43120&item=7971956424&rd=1 saw this on ebay today & also saw something very similar in Auto Trader last week has anyone got one of these intercoolers or does anyone know why people shouldn't be buying them?
  3. well, no matter who ends up competing it's gonna be awesome for the spectators, that's for sure!! i was there last year cheering for the Rover boys (being a 600 turbo owner) and was looking into buying a Pulsar at the time - over the period of the day i was just blown away by the Supras and it became my new dream car - this year i'll be turning up in my own
  4. Discount tickets list! Forum name - Real name (makes our life easier when sorting out the £s ) 1. TDaxGav and SupraChick (Gavan and Mel) (What about kids??) 2. Robsheffield plus 3 (Robert S) 3. Wez_p plus 1 (Wes) i don't want to put anyone's nose out of joint on this but just my personal opinion with TOTB is that is really is nice to see people's road cars competing as opposed to 'something that arrives on a trailer has a 5 man team to prep it etc and then it goes back in the garage till the next event' type car don't get me wrong it's awesome to see the tuners cars too that i would only get to see on tv or in the magazines, just saying what i like about TOTB i know the rules say "All the cars that compete are road legal, taxed, tested and insured" but how much more brilliant is it for the car to be something that someone drives to work every day too!! crazy....
  5. howdi i'm just next door in St Annes yours isn't black with a Veilside kit is it? haven't seen it yet but someone i know mentioned there was one just been imported for a guy in Blackpool don't know of any breakers nearby sorry - i'd be asking on here too if i was looking
  6. had mine for about a month now - bought it from Whifbitz who had it imported are you from Blackpool? it says Manchester in your profile or are you just regularly visiting here? i've heard of another lad who's just got a black veilside imported about 2 weeks ago but other than that i've seen one other which was a UK standard one in Red, no-one owned up to owning it on here though we're hoping to head to Mascrat Manor this coming Monday night if you're interested, GarethEaves is meeting us there along with a few others i believe

    Tesco 99Ron

hmm i'd be concerned if that's all a double decat can bring to the party my measly standard boost wasn't too far behind you had a look at Tescos in Preston yet for this 99RON?
  8. if you're referring to our last videographer i'm a little concerned only jokin geezer if you're reading this!!
  9. hmm i was near CSL on my way out to Poulton & there was a little gold Clio Sport sat behind me near there at the lights i seem to recall if you saw that about too? i like wingless too at the moment pic attached if you can't see the hosted one
  10. i believe duty is the amount of spike it allows to find the desired boost level, for example, if you want a boost pressure of 1.2 bar (does the apexi even read in bar i thought it was kg/cm3 or something, or is that the same as bar?) and you allowed a duty percentage of 25% then that would allow the apexi to spike up to 1.5 bar to find the 1.2 bar quicker, rather than a lower or 0% duty setting that would mean it took a little more time/work to find the required boost pressure that's how it was explained to me anyway when mine was being mapped! the in gear boost thingy is something that you could use to say have a lower boost for the launch gear to avoid to much wheel spin etc and then have it come in higher on the next gears the other nice thing about the apexi is it 'learns' your cars characteristics too so it smooths off the boost spikes over time once it's used to it etc
  11. could have been me did it look like this? http://www.aoxb55.dsl.pipex.com/supra/96suprasilver.JPG there were lots of nice cars out yesterday, just no room to take them for a blast with living in a popular place (sorry for still using your pics Paul but i haven't done any fresh ones still!!)

    Tesco 99Ron

slightly off topic but i was stuck with no fuel at the Trafford Centre this morning and ended up putting Texaco's 'Super Unleaded' in (just a tenner to get home mind you!!) and i didn't even know they did it, always thought the options were BP SUL or Optimax will go and check out the Tescos in Blackpool later i think and see if they now have this new 99RON i've always stuck to Optimax unless i can't find a Shell garage so a few pence cheaper per litre will be most welcome
  13. 1. Garetheves 2. Ewizzy 3. Kopite - date / work depending! 4. Stu - date depending 5. boneyard 6. Wez_p
  14. that's the one BUT it does go back in as soon as i press the button to release it so i guess the question is what happens electrically or mechanically when the button is pressed, along with the sensor for the seatbelt warning light etc
  15. or like dude says get one of the kits that comes with a FMIC to just 'U' it off instead if it was me & i wasn't going for a FMIC i would get one from a scrappers & then if i couldn't fit it myself, get a Supra mechanic who's willing off here to do it
  16. technical term i'll have a look in Halfords tomorrow for one of those, but i'm pretty sure that it's something electrical/mechanical that is connected to the button though since this immediately retracts it
  17. to anyone who's seatbelt is still not retracting, does it retract when you release it from the holder? this is what mine is doing but as soon as i press the release button on the holder it retracts?! i've let the X files know until someone can come up with a reason

    Tracker

i had the same thing from Privilege who said that a Tracker would be no less in premium or excess! disklok or snap off steering wheel must be the cheapest most effective method
  19. hadn't even thought about 500PRA, that's excellent, but the DVLA have only got W, X & Y left N 500PRA would have definitely been something i'd go for at those prices E 5PRA is available but twice the price of N15 SUP and SUP just isn't doing it for me at the mo, so thinking more like WES on the end again gonna sleep on it for a bit...
  20. N15 SUP makes me think 'nice sup' or is it just wishful thinking the wife says it makes her think 'nigel suppository' any opinions? i'm keen to get a nice plate but a cheap one and my other choice is to just get something with WES on the end again but can't find anything meaningful for the first letters/numbers it's a 96 car btw
  21. if you haven't already, get rid of the spare wheel & put some tyreweld in the boot instead very nice seats there, are you able to reveal the cost of the seats & subframes etc?
  22. anyone else fancy this? we can move it to blackpool if that's appealing to any strange folk out there?! i'd like to say it's a nice drive down the promenade but half of it is roadworks at the moment & the rest is littered with speed cameras and tourists!! oh yeah and the horse & carts all create a lovely unsmooth road surface for lowered/stiffened suspensions to remind you they are there
  23. i have to be there, it's where i live 1. Gaz (Garetheves) 2. Wes (wez_p)
